How to Purchase in Lazada Without a Credit Card?

One of the fast growing company today in Southeast Asia is Lazada Group. If you are a person who normally purchase online, then you are very familiar on how this company operates. When you are looking for something and you can't find it elsewhere in your local shopping malls, then you might want to check your item in Lazada's website. 

In Lazada, you can almost shop just about anything. The good thing about Lazada is that you usually get to pay for your purchased item only when it arrives in your doorsteps. This is one of its advantages: Cash-On-Delivery. You don't usually get to purchase it online through a credit card. 

However, there are some cases where your item of choice cannot be paid in COD. These items are normally purchased abroad. For example, this:

In such cases, you'll be needing your credit card to purchase this item. But how about if you have
none? Will you just look for another that is available in COD? That's where this article comes into your aid. :)

You could still purchase your item of choice. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Add To Cart - after you decided what to purchase, just click the Add to Cart button

Step 2: Proceed to Checkout - after adding the item to your cart, just click Proceed to Checkout

Step 3: Continue - click Continue after validating your name, address and price of the item

Step 4: Select helloPay as Payment Option - click on helloPay

Step 5: Place Your Order - click the Place Your Order button to proceed 

Upon placing your order, helloPay will ask you to create an account. Just Sign Up using an active email address (include you phone details as well). HelloPay will send you a verification number to verify your email. After verifying your email address, you will be asked to choose which Cash Deposit Store is convenient for you to pay. 

In my case, 7 Eleven is more convenient. After choosing 7 Eleven, you will receive an email notification with your 7-Connect reference number. 

Step 6: Copy your 7-Connect Reference Number or Print, then Go to 7 Eleven to Pay

Print this and present to 7 Eleven personnel for payment

After paying, make sure to ask for your Receipt. If you have indicated your phone number during helloPay registration, you will receive an SMS notification that you have completed your payment in Lazada. That's it. It's just that simple. :)

For items purchased abroad, it would normally take 25~30 days before it gets delivered. This may take a while since your order will be purchased abroad but its okay as long as you get the item you really wanted. :)
