How to Book Online in Cebu Pacific Air Without a Credit Card?

When you want to travel via air on a specific date, waiting for a new seat sale promo of Cebu Pacific Air on the web may take a lot of your time, money, effort and most especially is your patience. You need to be online regularly to catch their low-cost promo. Waiting for it is one challenge, and the next one will be booking your ticket as fast as you could. Booking should be done fast enough. Bear in mind, you're not the only one whose trying to avail a cheap airfare. Cebu Pacific Air usually announces PISO fares unexpectedly. And if you're one of those who catches this promo, then the next thing that will probably hinder you from availing it would be not having a credit card to be used in booking. Having a credit card is indeed helpful in this type of situations. But if you don't have one, you can still book your ticket online.

So how do you book your ticket online? Well to help you with it, I made a simple step by step procedure for booking airline ticket/s on the Cebu Pacific Air's website.

Step One:
Supposing you saw a new promo like this one (see image below):

First thing to do is to check the date of the promo's coverage. Supposing that your ideal date of travel is within that travel date, then you can possibly avail that promo. Next one for you now is to enter your desired travel schedule.

On the left side of the picture (above), you can either select "Round Trip" or "One Way". After deciding you may then set your Origin (where you're currently at) and Destination (where you want to go). Next, set your date of departure and the date of return. And lastly, select how many persons will travel with you. Select only one under "Adult" if you're alone.

And click "Search".

Step Two:
After checking the availability, it seemed that the promo on the 8th of November is already sold out but the December 14 date still has the promo available (as seen below).

The next thing you have to do is to search for another schedule. Supposing I'll choose November 16.

Now that the promo is available on the said dates, I can now start booking my ticket. To proceed, check the the "Check Box" on the bottom to affirm the airline's rules and regulations of travel.

And click "Continue".

Step Three:
After clicking "Continue" you will then be directed to the "Guest Details" page where you will be required to fill up the necessary information needed.

On the guest form, you may enter your complete name and date of birth.

For the bag allowance options, if you have some luggage with you on travel, you are allowed to choose accordingly. Prepay it upon departure or upon returning or both. But in this case I'll prefer to travel light, so I will be choosing " I have no bags to check-in, only carry on". Choosing this saves me additional fees.

Next is to enter the following contact information required. This information will be needed when flight schedules will be moved in the future. It requires your name, street address, zip code, country, telephone and mobile numbers and email address.

After all required info are filled, you may then click "Continue".

Step Four:
Next you will be asked of the following preferences you'd like. Example of these are travel insurance, donations, seat preferences and many more. Of course, the more you choose, the more expensive your ticket would be. So it will be up to you whether you want to avail such "Add Ons" they offer.

Note that the default page checks that you are availing the insurance and other add ons, so on this point, be keen on clicking next before you proceed.

For the travel insurance, check-in sports equipment, and world wide fund for nature, I unchecked them all.

On the next page, you will be asked to choose your desired seat location. On the default, you are given a seat. Both upon departure and upon returning.

To remove the defaulted seat number, simply click on the box where you seat is indicated (color pink), then scroll down on the plane's seat and click the yellow seat. You will then be prompt to choose "remove" or "change" the seat number indicated.

Select "Remove Seat" and proceed below. The total seat fee indicated should be zero. Check the box for confirmation and then click "Continue".

Step Five:
On the payment portion, select the third tab which is "Payment Centers". Using the drop down menu, you may select which bank you would like to pay for the ticket you are booking. In this case, I preferred Banco de Oro for this bank is usually open even on weekends. And don't forget to check the confirmation box above.

You then proceed by clicking "Continue".

The next page will now show your "Itinerary Receipt" with the corresponding flight details and the total amount of the ticket you booked. You might wonder that the price is not as what you expected. This is so because there are some processing fees and taxes included during booking of your ticket.

Finally! You've made it though! You can now pay your ticket at the payment center you selected under Step Five. In this example, Banco de Oro is that payment center. You will need the "Confirmation Number" listed on the right side of the page.

This number will be the Account Number you will write when depositing your payment in the bank. The status is still "On Hold". You are allowed until 23:59 on that same date to pay your ticket. Otherwise, the ticket you booked will expire and be void.

Hope this simple procedure from me helps you a lot when booking your tickets in the future. =)

  4. Again, don’t be fooled by online air tickets; if it’s not an authorized dealer, don’t ever purchase from them! I’m a victim before and I don’t want you guys to suffer from it. If you want to avail of promos, read the booking form thoroughly. The surcharges, taxes, and baggage fees are not often mentioned so you better ask them. And please if you’re a frequent traveller or not, secure travel insurance. I’m telling you it’s a big help when travel dilemma comes.
