Announcement: Malacañang Declares December 26 and January 2 as Special Non-Working Holidays!

The office of the President of the Philippines has declared earlier today Proclamation No. 117 which makes December 26, 2016 and January 2, 2017 to be Special Non-Working holidays. It is well known that the year 2016 has the shortest number of holidays due to most holidays in December falling on the weekends.

According to the said Proclamation, having a longer weekend will promote domestic tourism opportunities in the country and at the same time, will also enable employers to plan appropriate work schedules. This effective planning will increase every company's productivity while at the same time gives more joy to its employees. 😊

This is a good news worth sharing. 😊
