Manny Pacquiao triumphant against Marquez on 3rd Fight!

Pound-for-pound champion Manny Pacquiao successfully defended his WBO welterweight crown against Mexican fighter Juan Manuel Marquez in their third epic battle! Both fighters exchanged blows throughout the entire 12 exciting rounds. Marquez indeed showed good boxing skills against Pacman in many of the rounds that he won. Marquez definitely was ready for Pacquiao's aggressive style and was able to catch and hurt the Filipino southpaw some good counter punches.

The "Pacquiao vs Marquez 3" was again a very close battle for the two great fighters. And again, a very close decision for the judges! The judges scored the bout in favor of Pacman 114-114, 115-113 & 116-112. Manny Pacquiao improved his record to 54 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws. While the Mexican slugger Juan Manuel Marquez stoops his record down to 53 wins, 6 losses and 1 draw. 

At the end of the 12th round, Marquez was raising his hands in thought of winning the match. While Pacquiao on the other hand seemed a bit doubtful of the results. But as the scorecards were gathered, Manny Pacquiao has once again reigned supreme against Juan Manuel Marquez for the second time and retains his WBO Championship belt!

Manny was asked later if he'd accept another rematch. Pacquiao said that "Anytime, I can fight any fighther. It depends on my promoter, but anytime, yeah."

Definitely, the fight was very close. People whom have watched it live might have their own opinion whether who should have won. I myself was happy for the results. But for Pacquiao's performance against Marquez, it seemed not too convincing. Well, it's up for the people to decide.
